Theater Online: the veteran artist Turan Mehrzad passed away at 21:00 on Tuesday, December 19th, 2023due to old age in Tehran’s Pasteurno Hospital.
Turan Mehrzad was born in 1930, and in 1944, She started her artistic activities in the theater with Abdul Hossein Noushin, and then continued her activities by playing roles in radio shows.
She was one of the last survivors of the first generation of radio in Iran.
Turan Mehrzad is the sister of Iran famous voice actress Bozorgmehri Rad , who passed away in 2016.
She also acted in movies and serials and has left lasting roles in dubbing, radio and theater.
Among the most important TV series of Turan Mehrzad, we can mention the series “Imam Ali (AS)” and “This House is Far Away”.
