Qotboddin Sadeghi takes Abji Mozafar to the stage

The play Abji Mozafar, written and directed by Qotboddin Sadeghi, will be performed on the main stage of the City Theatre.

theateronline: According to Theater Online, Qotboddin Sadeghi, the renowned Iranian playwright, translator, actor, and director, will stage his new play Abji Mozafar starting from December 16th at 7:30 PM at the City Theatre. The play tells the story of the journey of Mozafaruddin Shah to Paris and the events and incidents surrounding this trip.

In this play, directed by Qotboddin Sadeghi, prominent actors such as Jacqueline Awareh, Elaheh Pourjamshid, Mohammad Rasul Jafari, Hossein Shafiee, Amirreza Koushani, Shahram Masoudi, Saeed Nabavi, and many other distinguished artists take on roles.

Other contributors to the play include Keyvan Esmaeili (assistant director and planner), Farshid Heidari (set designer), Niusha Sadeghan (costume designer), Afsaneh Gholizadeh (puppet and hat makeup designer), and Abad Atashani (composer and singer). Additionally, a group of skilled musicians, including Ehsan Samani Manesh (tombak and cajón player), Laya Tabibi (kamancheh player), and Hanieh Taebi (dam-dam player), have added special and impactful music to this production.
