Bita Farahi, a film, theater and television actress, died at the age of sixty-five.

Theater Online: Bita Farahi, who was hospitalized for the past few weeks due to lung and heart complications, passed away today at noon on December 4.

According to the follow-up from the actor’s family, this news was confirmed.

“Ancient land” series starring Bita Farahi is currently being aired.

Bita Farahi, an Iranian theater, cinema and television actress, was born on April 1, 1337 in Tehran and graduated from the John Powers School of Art in America in 1359. This artist started his career in cinema in 1989 by acting in the movie “Hamoun” directed by Dariush Mehrjui. Farahi and Khosrow Shakibaei formed one of the most famous artistic couples of the 70s. He also entered the TV frame for the first time in 1997 with the series “Green land”.

Among the other works in which Bita Farahi has appeared are the films we can refer to: “Waiting for a Miracle”, “Familiar Soil”, “bloodplay”, “House on the Water”, “Lady”, “Kimya”, “Protest”, “Laminor”. “, “My Brother Khosrow”, “When I Returned”, “The Age of Love”, “Good News to a Citizen of the Third Millennium” and the series “Island”, “Forgotten from memories”, “Dancing on the Glass”, “Irandokht”, “Ancient Land”.

In 2013, this veteran artist was supposed to go on stage in cooperation with Ali Pouyan in the play “Coriolanus”, the most unknown work of Shakespeare, in the Iranshahr Theater, but in the end, the performance was not completed.

“Laminor” is the latest work of Dariush Mehrjui, the last film in which Bita Farahi acted.
