Theateronline: According to the project’s public relations report, the play “Rectangle”, designed, written and directed by Sahra Ramezanian and produced by Ilia Shams and Kamyar Mohebi, continued its successful international presence by winning the festival statuette at the 11th Fujairah International Monodrama Festival (UAE) and being among the top three performances of the season. In this edition of the festival, plays from Germany, France, Spain, Greece, Russia, Armenia, Georgia, Egypt, Tunisia, and… competed with each other. Ali Mirnezhad also played a role in this work. This work is a work of the Rectangle Art Group.
According to the report, this play had previously been staged at the 20th International Festival of Performing Arts (HIGHFEST) Yerevan and the 7th Inspiration International Festival in Moscow and was well received by the audience.
Other factors in this play include the presence of actors (sound and image) Amir Bahador Oraei, Nazanin Tafazzoli, Kimia Nahrin, and Amir Mahmoud Nouraei, video production and editing by Pouya Haghighi Gilahi, costume designer Akram Nasiri, music selection by Hooman Houshyari, photographer Hossein Hajibabaei, translator Amir Jafari, poster execution by Mojtaba Rohamian, and assistant director Arian Esmaeilzadeh. It should be noted that the “BamaMiresi” Cultural and Artistic Institute is present as a financial and spiritual sponsor of this work.
The 11th Fujairah International Monodrama Festival, UAE, was held from April 10 to 18.
